Nick Adenhart RIP

Angel pitcher Nick Adenhart's death has come as a shock to the baseball nation. The Angels will be commemorating their fallen teammate by wearing a patch on their jerseys for the rest of the season. Some people say that they should retire his number, I don't think it's appropriate. Wearing the patch in honor of him is what I believe they should do. It shows that they will remember him but they also need to move forward.

  1. At first I was going to disagree with you, because I was going to say that I do think they should retire his number. The would be a way for him to be remembered forever. But after you pointed it out I do think it is a little much and the patch is a good way to honor him but like you said will allow them to move forward.I think it would be nice if they did soemthing in memory of him, like had a plaque made or tile to put in the stadium. Even though it is a very horrible and sad thing that this happened to him, I think The Angels could use this to teach fans about the importance of not drinking and driving. The more times we talk about not drinking in driving, hopefully the less it will happen.
